Bridal Shower Game: "How Sweet It Is"

"How Sweet It Is” - one of my favorite bridal shower games - is a word matching game that pairs candy bar names with wedding and marriage phrases. Bridal shower guests usually get a chuckle out of the answer – especially such risqué pairs as “Skor” with “Wedding Night” and “Good and Plenty” with “Honeymoon.” Here is a sample question sheet and its corresponding answer sheet that's been a big hit at showers I've helped host. Feel free to us it or, if you’re feeling creative, make your own. The winner of the game is the guest who has the most correct matches when time is up. And what better prize for that guest than some candy?

  1. Preparing a bridal shower is challenging but it is entirely worth the work! Every single one of us got a customized scavenger hunt shrit and the bride had to check off topics off our shirts throughout the evening… we entertained the bride with plenty of drinks and every person had a great deal of fun. We found some incredible themed accessories and customized shirts from this web page...

  4. Oh, this is too funny. Really I'm not quite sure how you'd declare the right answers for some of these, but I'm sure there will be tons of laughs in the process! Here's a game -- http://www.bridalbananas.com/book-of-love-wedding-reception-game -- I created it for my own wedding reception and now you can get one too. It's not just a game, you create a book of everyone's responses.

  5. How cute! I'm guessing you have to say the name of the candy for it to fit with a particular one of these. I really like chilled out games, like this one: http://www.themed-party-ideas.com/conversation-start
