Six Ways to Save on Wedding Accessories

Are your wedding expenses adding up? Accessories can certainly become a significant line item in your budget. From headpieces to jewelry to shoes and handbags, the cost of wedding accessories can really add up. If you're looking for a way to cut down the cost of your wedding and still walk down the aisle in style, consider these six ways to save on weddings accessories.

1. Buy it second-hand. Websites like eBay and Craig's List are great places to find wedding accessories that are in great shape. After all, most people only wear them once and then pack them away. Some sites also host message boards designated for wedding classifieds, such as WeddingBee.com, The Knot, and PartyPop.com. I purchased my beautiful veil secondhand for a fraction of what I would have paid in the store, and no one would ever have known it had been worn. Don't forget about thrift shops as a second-hand option, as well.
